 The Metropolitan Cathedral of São Sebastião in Rio de Janeiro is located in the Downtown Rio and was built in 1976.  Parque Lage is a public park located in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro city. There are trails, a lake, artificial caves and a beautiful mansion built in the early 20th century. The best is the pool that is in the center of the building and provides a beautiful view of Cristo Redentor. The park has a cafe located by the pool. An arts school also operates on site.

 Cascata Taunay is the largest waterfall in the Tijuca National Park. It is close to the entrance to the Floresta da Tijuca sector. Bathing is prohibited but below the waterfall there is a natural pool where it is possible to bathe.
