Pão de Açúcar

The Sugarloaf Mountain is one of the main tourist spots in Rio de Janeiro. The famous image looks like a single hill but in fact there are two. The Sugarloaf Mountain is the highest, the lowest is Morro da Urca.

There is a cable car that leaves from Praia Vermelha and stops at Morro da Urca and Pão de Açúcar.

The attraction is in the neighborhood of Urca, South Zone of Rio de Janeiro. At the top of the hills there are gastronomic options and even space for shows.

The sunset is incredible from up there. It is worth taking the tour in the late afternoon and watching the sun go down and dusk arrive.

There is a trail that goes to the top of Morro da Urca. A light walk lasting approximately half an hour. At Pão de Açúcar there is a climbing route, indicated only with the assistance of a trained professional.
