Cristo Redentor

 Cristo Redentor is the most famous tourist spot in Brazil. It is located at the top of Corcovado Montain in Tijuca National Park.

There are two ways to visit it: by van and by train.

The company Paineiras Corcovado leaves from various points of the city and continues to the attraction.

A train line that leaves the neighborhood of Cosme Velho, South Zone of the city goes to the top of Corcovado. This is the most classic tour to do. For the train cuts through the forest towards Cristo Redentor. The landscape on the way is spectacular. The railway line has more than one hundred years of existence. Christ the Redeemer was declared one of the seven wonders of the world by UNESCO. From the top of Corcovado it is possible to see important points of the city. Highlighting the Pão de Açúcar Montain, the Maracanã Stadium, the Guanabara Bay and the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon.
