Pão de Açúcar

The Sugarloaf Mountain is one of the main tourist spots in Rio de Janeiro. The famous image looks like a single hill but in fact there are two. The Sugarloaf Mountain is the highest, the lowest is Morro da Urca. There is a cable car that leaves from Praia Vermelha and stops at Morro da Urca and Pão de Açúcar. The attraction is in the neighborhood of Urca, South Zone of Rio de Janeiro. At the top of the hills there are gastronomic options and even space for shows. The sunset is incredible from up there. It is worth taking the tour in the late afternoon and watching the sun go down and dusk arrive. There is a trail that goes to the top of Morro da Urca. A light walk lasting approximately half an hour. At Pão de Açúcar there is a climbing route, indicated only with the assistance of a trained professional. Cable car www.bondinho.com.br

A train line that leaves the neighborhood of Cosme Velho, South Zone of the city goes to the top of Corcovado. This is the most classic tour to do. For the train cuts through the forest towards Cristo Redentor. The landscape on the way is spectacular. The railway line has more than one hundred years of existence. The ticket purchase is made only through the website where the tour is scheduled by appointment. Christ the Redeemer was declared one of the seven wonders of the world by UNESCO. From the top of Corcovado it is possible to see important points of the city. Highlighting the Pão de Açúcar Montain, the Maracanã Stadium, the Guanabara Bay and the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon.  Rio de Janeiro is a city famous for its cinematic landscape that was even listed by UNESCO. The beaches, forests and a historic center that brings together buildings from different centuries form an incredible scenario. The city is the capital of the state of Rio de Janeiro, located in the Southeast Region of Brazil. It is divided into four main regions: South Zone, North Zone, West Zone and Center. As in the large capitals of Brazil, housing projects are practically nonexistent, resulting in an increasing number of people living on the streets. Another point that ended up becoming a characteristic of the city are the favelas. These areas began to emerge intensely at the beginning of the 20th century due to a major project to elitize the city center. This project left thou
