BATHING PLACES IN TIJUCA PARK

 The Tijuca National Park is in the middle of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Its large area covers several regions of the city.

In addition to the beautiful lookouts, the park offers excellent bathing areas, a good option for the summer days to come.

Poço da Cascatinha
Poço da Cascatinha is a natural pool located at the entrance to the park in the Alto da Boa Vista neighborhood. The waters that come down from the great waterfall form a pool where you can cool off and sunbathe at the same time.

Cachoeira das Almas
Cachoeira das Almas is a waterfall located in the Floresta sector in the Alto da Boa Vista neighborhood. The trail is light level and starts near the visitor center.

Cachoeira do Chuveiro
Cachoira do Chuveiro is located in the upper part of the Jardim Botânico neighborhood, in the South Zone of the city.
The waters fall into a gap between the stone wall and resembles a box, hence the name waterfall of the shower.
