 The Rio Art Museum was opened in 2013 and is located in Praça Mauá, downtown.

It has its headquarters in two buildings of distinct architecture that are side by side. It offers traveling and fixed exhibitions as well as educational spaces and a terrace overlooking the region. It has a cafe.
