Food in Rio: Colombo Bakery

 Confeitaria Colombo is one of the most traditional bakeries in Rio de Janeiro. Opened in 1894, it is located in the center of Rio de Janeiro. The beautiful building had its architecture preserved and became a tourist spot in the city.

On weekends, huge lines form for the traditional breakfast.

There are legends that say the stone is actually a Phoenician sphinx. Others say the site is a flying saucer landing site.  Cristo Redentor is the most famous tourist spot in Brazil. It is located at the top of Corcovado Montain in Tijuca National Park. There are two ways to visit it: by van and by train.
