Morro da Urca, a beautiful hill

Morro da Urca is the neighboring hill to the famous Pão de Açúcar montain. Usually on postcard photos they appear as a single hill, but they are two rock formations.

There are two ways to get to the top of the hill: cable car, the famous "bondinho" and a light level trail that starts at Cláudio Coutinho way, in the left corner of Vermelha beach.

From the top of Morro da Urca it is possible to see points such as Cristo Redentor, Botafogo and Flamengo beaches, Santos Dumont Airport, Urca district and the famous Pão de Açúcar Mountain. There are also snack bars, a restaurant, a square for shows and a helipad.
