Beaches in Rio: Botafogo Beach

 Botafogo Beach is located in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro and is bathed by Guanabara Bay. It has dark and polluted waters. The scenery is heavenly with the Pão de Açúcar Mountain in the background, which contrasts with the degradation of the beach. Its surroundings require care as theft is common.
