National Library

 The National Library is located on Avenida Rio Branco, downtown Rio. Built in 1910, it was inspired by the Military School of Paris.

Its construction is imposing with an eclectic façade, highlighting the beautiful staircase and the triangular pediment.

 The Pedra Branca State Park is in the West Zone of Rio de Janeiro and encompasses eleven neighborhoods in the city. The park is considered one of the largest urban forests in the world. Guanabara Bay

 Guanabara Bay is located in Rio de Janeiro and bathes five other cities in the Metropolitan Region. They are: Niterói, São Gonçalo, Guapimirim, Magé and Duque de Caxias. Unfortunately it is polluted due to the lack of sanitation in the surrounding cities. Despite this, nature bravely resists. In some sections it is possible to see dolphins and birds. In the city of Guapimirim there is an ecological reserve that preserves the last mangrove area in the bay.

 Parque Lage is a public park located in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro city. There are trails, a lake, artificial caves and a beautiful mansion built in the early 20th century. The best is the pool that is in the center of the building and provides a beautiful view of Cristo Redentor. The park has a cafe located by the pool. An arts school also operates on site.
