Maracanã Stadium

 The Maracanã stadium is located in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro. It was built in 1950 to host football World Cup matches. At the time it was considered the largest stadium in the world, reaching an audience of 200 thousand spectators.

The stadium has already hosted shows by great artists and hosted the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.

The site offers guided tours and has the Football Museum.
