Joatinga Beach

Joatinga Beach is a small beach located in the Joá district, West Zone of Rio de Janeiro. Many people think it is a private beach because the access is through a residential condominium. However, entry is free, and it is important to be aware of limited spaces for those traveling by car. Another point to be highlighted is that Praia da Joatinga varies according to the tides. At times the sand is submerged.

Pedra Bonita, jump to the paradise

 Pedra Bonita is a natural monument located in the neighborhood of São Conrado, South Zone of Rio de Janeiro. It has a ramp for gliding and paragliding, an activity for those who like adventure. There is also a trail that leads to the top of the hill. From there you can see the region of Barra da Tijuca, São Conrado Beach, Pedra da Gávea and Christ the Redeemer. The walk takes an average of half an hour.

The wonderful staircase: Escadaria Selarón

 The Escadaria Selarón is a famous staircase of Rio de Janeiro city. It is located in Lapa, Downtown Rio de Janeiro. It all started in the 1990s when the artist Jorge Selarón began to cover the steps with tiles forming various mosaics. Soon the point became famous and many people stopped by to see the artist at work. Unfortunately Jorge passed away a few years ago, but his work was immortalized in the famous Escadaria Selarón.

The view to paradise: Leblon Belvedere

Leblon Belvedere is one of the main tourist attractions in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro. It is located on Niemeyer avenue and overlooks Leblon Beach, Vidigal Favela, Dois Irmãos hills and the Cagarras Islands.

The historic tram

 The Santa Teresa tram is a tram line that has been around for over a hundred years. Connects the neighborhood of Santa Teresa to the center of Rio de Janeiro. Hours are currently limited and the ticket price is twenty reais per person. The station is close to the famous Largo da Carioca, the historic center of Rio.
